This book is well-researched and is geared towards endurance athletes attaining a good racing weight in order ot improve performance. It combines nutrition principles such as consuming particular foods at particular times, information on supplements, timetable and content of workouts. It’s pretty comprehensive – but you kind of need to be a little obsessed in order to play by all the rules. The diet side of it appears to be too much like a diet to be sustainable, whereas lifestyle modification would be possibly less effective but certainly more sustainable. Still, there are good principles whether you choose to adopt the whole thing or not.
